Senior Research Scientist
Huy is an atmospheric scientist specializing in air quality research and modeling. His background includes environmental engineering, air quality management, impact analysis, and air quality and weather research modeling (MM5, WRF, CMAQ, CAMx). Huy has worked with EPA regulatory dispersion models and prepared environmental operation permit applications (Title I, Title V) for various energy industry partners. Currently focused on air quality in the Uintah Basin and nearby region, Huy is developing improved emissions and photochemical models to support ozone research and policy analysis. Huy has a B.S. from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, an M.S. from the Asian Institute of Technology, and a Ph.D. from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks.
